The football app for Haifa that
replaces the group chat.
Organize your weekly game, track who's in, fill open spots from local players in Haifa, and build your football reputation — all in one free app.
Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Haifa both play out of the 30,000-seat Sammy Ofer Stadium, while amateur clubs like Beitar Haifa and Hapoel Kiryat Haim fill out Liga Bet and Liga Gimel fixtures across the city. Pickup games are scattered across the Carmel's elevation bands - Lower City, Hadar, Carmel Center - rather than concentrated in one park, with Favela's rentable 5v5/6v6 pitches in Neve Sha'anan one of the few bookable options that doesn't require a club.
Sound familiar?
"Who's in for Tuesday?"
You send one message to the group chasing a Favela booking. By Thursday, you still don't know if you have 10 or 14 players showing up for a field you've already paid for.
No-shows ruin everything
Someone says "I'm in" then doesn't appear. You're stuck playing 5v4, and it's too late to find a replacement.
Finding new players is impossible
You moved from Hadar up to Carmel Center, or your usual group fell apart. There's no easy way to discover who's short a player across Haifa's scattered hillside pitches.
The organizer does all the work
One person chases everyone for confirmations, splits the Favela field-rental fee, books the slot, and counts heads. Every. Single. Week.

Football on Wapp — FAQ
Where can I find people to play football in Haifa?
Casual football in Haifa often happens at rentable pitches like Favela in Neve Sha'anan (two 5v5/6v6 fields, open for booking any hour), alongside amateur club fixtures from Liga Bet and Liga Gimel sides like Beitar Haifa and Hapoel Kiryat Haim. Wapp won't just point you to a location - open the Around Me map to see actual games, teams, and players nearby, and request to join or start your own.
Can I use Wapp for 5-a-side, 7-a-side, and 11-a-side?
Yes. When you create an event, you set the max number of players. Wapp works for any format — from small-sided pickup games to full 11v11 matches.
How do I find football games near me?
Open the "Around Me" map in Wapp. You'll see every open game, team, and player across Haifa's hillside neighborhoods - from a rented Favela slot in Neve Sha'anan to a Liga Gimel fixture near Kiryat Haim. Tap any pin to see details and request to join.
Is Wapp free for football teams?
Yes. The core app — creating events, managing your squad, tracking attendance, and finding games — is completely free. Basic squad tools will always remain free.
Can I manage multiple football squads?
Absolutely. Whether you're running a Liga Gimel amateur side like the ones based out of Kiryat Haim or just a Favela five-a-side crew, Wapp lets you create multiple squads under one club - separate your first team from training groups, and manage each roster independently.
How is this better than a WhatsApp group for football?
WhatsApp is a messaging app. Wapp is built for sport. You get structured events with one-tap RSVPs, automatic attendance tracking, reliability scores, local player discovery, and squad management — things no group chat can do.
