Rome is home to the Internazionali BNL d'Italia, the Masters 1000 clay-court event at the Foro Italico that drew a record 418,815 spectators in 2026 — and real courts anyone can book, from Centro Sportivo Nicola Pietrangeli inside that same complex to Circolo Antico Tiro a Volo's four floodlit clay courts. Discover tennis players in Rome, schedule singles or doubles, manage your regular group, and never struggle to find a hitting partner again.
Italian tennis is in the middle of a real boom: FITP membership hit 1.15 million in 2024, up 266% from around 300,000 in 2020, credited to the "Sinner effect." Rome's clubs run on an official FITP ranking ladder from NC up to 1st category, reset every January — more players chasing the same courts makes a regular group harder to keep together.

Rome's courts book out fast
FITP membership is up 266% since 2020, and Rome's public courts - Centro Sportivo Nicola Pietrangeli, Circolo Antico Tiro a Volo - fill up right along with it. You message five people individually, and by the time everyone answers, the slot is gone.
Finding players at your level
You want a rally partner who can match your pace, not someone who's just started or far above your level. But you have no way to know.
Doubles coordination nightmare
Getting 4 players, a court, and a time that works for everyone feels like solving a puzzle. Someone always drops out last minute.
Same partner, every time
Rome's players are split across dozens of independent clubs - Tennis Club Parioli, Circolo Canottieri Aniene, courts inside the Foro Italico itself - with no easy way to find a hitting partner outside your own club.
